Election Time in Charvil

Wokingham Borough Council are publishing the Notice of Election for the Parish Councillors of the Village and the Borough Councillor for the Ward of Charvil.

Election of Parish Councillors for the Parish of Charvil

 Number of Parish Councillors to be elected in the Parish of Charvil is Ten

1. Nomination papers may be obtained from the Returning Officer at the Civic Offices, Shute End, Wokingham, RG40 1WH.
2. Nomination papers must be hand delivered to Electoral Services staff via the designated drop off point at the Post/Delivery Door Entrance to the Civic Offices, Shute End, Wokingham, RG40 1WH on any day after the date of this notice, on Monday to Friday 9.30 a.m. to 5 p.m. (excluding bank holidays) but no later than 4 pm on Thursday 8th April 2021.
3. If the election is contested the poll will take place on Thursday 6th May 2021.
4. Applications to register to vote must reach the Electoral Registration Officer at the Civic Offices, Shute End, Wokingham, RG40 1WH by 12 midnight on Monday 19th April 2021. Applications can be made online: https://www.gov.uk/register-to-vote.
5. New applications for postal votes or amendments or cancellations of existing postal and proxy votes must reach the Electoral Registration Officer at the Civic Offices, Shute End, Wokingham, RG40 1WH by 5 pm on Tuesday 20th April 2021.
6. New applications to vote by proxy at this election must reach the Electoral Registration Officer at the Civic Offices, Shute End, Wokingham, RG40 1WH by 5 pm on Tuesday 27th April 2021.
7. Applications to vote by emergency proxy at this election must reach the Electoral Registration Officer at the Civic Offices, Shute End, Wokingham, RG40 1WH by 5 pm on Thursday 6th May 2021.

2.
