Successful Conservation Task in Charvil

We are very grateful to the conservation group, Conserve Reading on Wednesdays (CRoW), who ran a session at the park behind the Village Hall.

A group of experienced volunteers came armed with hard hats, loppers and saws to cut back overgrown vegetation, brambles and branches. The idea is to reinvigorate the perimeter of the park as a wildlife area.

Three enthusiastic residents also joined them, and by the end of the day, a substantial area had been cleared.
