Charvil Village Party This Sunday!

Come and meet the Charvil Parish Councillors and Neighbourhood Plan Team and the Charvil Village Party this Sunda, 5th September on the East Park Farm Playing Fields.

Starting at 2pm, the Village Party will host all the usual activies of the fete – music, licensed bar, food, teas, bouncy castles and such like.

It will also allow the Neighbourhood Plan team a welcome opportunity to discuss with residents in person, what the Plan is avout, why their views are important, and how the plan can benefit the village.

In addition, the Parish Council is very busy with other projects at the moment. They hope to facilitiate the planting of a new Community Orchard this autumn and are looking for tree sponsors, not only for this year, but for future plantings over the next four or five years.

Residents attending the Party will obviously be familiar with the Pavilion on East Park Farm. The Parish Council hopes to redevelop this with funds from the Community Infrastructure Levy, grants and possibly some borrowing. The Parish Council will be seeking residents’ views on this project, so please seek out the Parish Council Gazebo.
